Knox Church Staff

Ministry Staff

Rev. Michael Koslowski has served the congregation at Knox as pastor (or 'Minister of Word and Sacrament') since 2002. With a particular interest in Christian Education, and envisioning Knox as a community of faith committed to God's Word, Rev. Koslowski emphasizes the relevancy of God's word through his Preaching and Bible Studies.

As a community of faith, Rev. Koslowski believes that everyone has been called by God, to be joined together as members of God's family, and seeks to make everyone feel welcome through his open sense of humour.

Aside from his role as pastor, Rev. Koslowski is also the convenor of the Westminster Presbytery's committee responsible for operating Camp Douglas - a Christian children's camp located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.

He believes that God has called us to be warm and inviting, welcoming others so that all may find themselves at home in our congregation, the most important component of our Ministry staff.

Members reach out to one another - and to our community and world - in love, support, friendship and care in a way that makes our church a family of faith.

Support Staff

  • Our Church Secretary manages to co-ordinate our church programs, helping to facilitate much of the use of our busy building with an easy-going attitude and a strong desire to help others.
  • Our Music Director here at Knox, as organist and choir director, brings both the talent and the warm-hearted dedication needed to make the music program an important part of our church life.
  • Rebecca Bollwitt is our Sunday School Co-ordinator. Her energy and enthusiasm are a wonderful asset, as she helps to organise curriculum, facilitates the children's participation in worship, and cares for many of our children.

Volunteers

Of course, our many volunteers round out our support staff. Everyone in the congregation is encouraged to participate in the life and work of Knox Church. Their efforts make our church a joyful place to be - and a wonderful outreach into our community and world.
